It will be a race night with qualifying, heat races and a final heat. We might even end up with 10 boats. Thinking about doing a,b, and c flights keep the number down in the heats then 6 on the front line with a trailer for the final heat.

Race #1 of SNHL Season 2, Guntersville Southern Cup is October 26th.

Qualifying: Friday, October 25th
Race: Saturday, October 26th

Friday we will have a short drivers meeting at 5:30pm and Qualifying will start at 6pm.

Qualifying format will follow H1 rules: Qualifying order will be in the reverse of the national high point standings from season 1 (the High Points Champion will qualify last).

The Southern Cup format will be 3 flights of heats, followed by the Consolation Heat and the Final Heat. The Heat races will be 3 laps and the Final Heat will be 5 laps.

Preliminary Heats and the Consolation Heat will have a maximum of 6 boats per heat. The Final Heat will have 7 boats (the 7th boat being the trailer). The winner of the Consolation Heat will be the trailer in the Final Heat.

@Scott-Przybylski can you add the new boats we painted in the next update. The 9,11,12, and the 21. Also I’m almost done with the 99.9.

Sometime this weekend I’ll try to figure out a Saturday in June that I can host a race. It’s been too long I’m ready for some racing

With the first season of HydroSim complete it is time to retire Hydromod. And what better way then to run 3 final race nights one for each class. We'll kick it off Friday Feb 8th with the GP race on the Madison race course. The race will be run under HRL league rules. Saturday Feb 23rd we'll run the Vintage boats on the San Diego course. The normal H1 rules will be used except no speed limit and no DMZ zones(no cutting in the turns). The last race will be Saturday March 2nd we'll run the Modern boats at Detroit. It will be the current H1 rules and you can pick real or fantasy boats. Please reply to this post with what race and what boat you want to drive.
