That page has all the information you need to join the league. There's a registration form that was initially posted May 1 that you'll need to fill out. There's also a pronunciation form to fill out that was initially posted August 18 so your name will be pronounced properly on the Facebook live streams. Good luck.

Race Boat Crashes On Lake Guntersville

In a test run this afternoon, the Seattle-based Hormel Spam hydroplane lost control and crashed while preparing for next weekend's Southern Cup on Lake Guntersville.

The driver, Craig Montgomery, was unhurt. He says the boat is not repairable in time for the race. "Unfortunately this boat is showing its age. We found cracked frames in the hull."
