@fouga60 The potential commercial audience for a realistic hydroplane sim is very small, so it's not worth the investment for a major studio. They would have to make it very "gamey" with battles and powerups and gimmicks. Look at Hydro Thunder as an example.

@Beau-Rarig My understanding was that you could keep a number if it's a real boat, and that only fantasy boats couldn't share a number. I'd rather see that than a Pay 'N Pak with a wrong number on it.

there are practice races going on all the time on the public server, uhlhydroplanes.com. It's the default when you start the game, just click Join.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply. Painting boats involves using a graphics editor like Photoshop or Gimp, then saving the files as a .dds

If you look where your game is installed at HydroSim_Data\StreamingAssets\Teams you can see the file structure and names.
