Fastest Lap (HydroSim)

@CanYouFoush Yeah it was hard to time the start of the race because it was skipping backwards. Also it said we were running 200mph laps in racing
-
Here's a video of a 190 mph lap
-
@Mickey
Using a timer and some math (a.k.a an online speed calculator), I figured out that the real lap you ran was ~57.5 and around 156.5 mph. The clock lagged behind by about 10 seconds and the lap showed up as 34 mph faster. -
@CanYouFoush yeah I know the timing was off just posted so Scott could see it so he knows what it’s doing
-
@Mickey Yeah. I just wanted to know how much it skipped back.
-
@CanYouFoush ok. Did you notice when we were racing the clock for the start of the race was skipping too
-
@Mickey I did. There was one race that I won where I was late to the start but the clock jumped back twice as everyone crossed the line. They all “jumped” but I was the only legal one
-
Huh, interesting. Seems that the time synchronization is getting out of whack. It looks like the time on the server is running slower...

Hey Guys,
I've been out of the loop for quite a while (work) however, I just spent a little time on the water with the new sim and it's unbelievable.
Literally THE GAME I've wanted since I played Cobra Triangle on Nintendo lol Always wanted a true sim for hydros and it's finally here so THANKS SCOTT!
A couple questions..
-
Is Mission Bay the only course right now?
-
Is there a way to map a "look back" button with the Momo?
-
Is there a way to see the best laps run or do we basically just keep record in a thread like this?
Thanks and can't wait to race
-
-
1.) Yes, currently Mission Bay is the only course but accordingly to Scott's BitBucket site, new courses should be here eventually
2.) There isn't a way to map a look back button for any control scheme, but if you set look left and look right inputs and press them both you'll look backwards
3.) We just keep track in this thread
Looking forward to the race!

@cp65 Yeah I've had a lot of issues with that too, especially when I'm anywhere near somebody's wake
