Alternative sound mod for HydroSim "ACER45 HS SoundMod"
Mod mainly for people controlling from the cockpit, but will also fly on external cameras.

As the HydroSim simulator develops, I will improve the mod.
All current versions of the soundmod will be published in this thread.

Installation instruction:
Unpack, copy and paste in the place where the main HydroSim folder is located.
The package only replaces the default sound files. In addition, I added original sound files to the package so that you can quickly return to the original version.

Bugs:

• #1 Join - wrong server address freezes the game.

  • Suggestion: instead of "localhost" I suggest setting "www.uhlhydroplanes.com" address by default.

• #2 Cockpit camera - the view from the cockpit is darker

Suggestions /Requests:

• Lap times - A list of all lap times, not just the last and the best. This will create lap analysis options. Something on the example of * .XML log files from rfactor.

• Cockpit camera - it could be useful to position the camera from the cockpit forward/backward and up/down

• Replay - add the option of binding the "Pause" button for replay support

• Buoys - the ability to quickly reset buoy positions on the server for everyone

Feature Request - ability to map the boat reset button on the controller

After the latest update (v0.6.1.0-p10), I can enjoy the normal view from the cockpit. Thank you!

Bug:

• #1 I don't see HUD in VR view

• #2 In VR view. TV, blimp and heli cameras are far from the boat relative to those in monitor mode

Problem solved! In room setup (Steam VR) i set up the distance from floor to -5cm. Now im inside the cockpit when is set cockpit camera.

Do you have an Oculus? Which one? I've only tested with the first gen Oculus Rift.

I currently have Pimax4K goggles that support only two axes (2DOF). I have no problem with iRacing.

I know this is an early version of the game, but the simulator without a cockpit view is not a simulator, and in the current phase the view from the cockpit gives you chills ... all that is missing is a dangling spider and torch.

I can help create cockpit textures. I have 3dsmax, photoshop, illustrator.
